‘Mobile Venture Choice®’ planned as an incidental event for 2005 Mobilephone Conference & Exhibition hosted by BORAENC INC.(www.boraenc.com. Representative: Kim Hyun Jin), a professional planning company for conference and exhibitions, and supported by Korean Venture Capital Association was successfully held at the COEX Grand Ballroom on July 14th for the development of competitive mobile venture companies.
6 businesses had a heated competition, Fine One Communications Inc., Mobience Inc., Citus Inc., Zenitum Entertainment Computing Inc., Unify Telecom Inc., and Momo Web Inc., who went through pre-investigations in the event held to promote competitiveness reinforcement of mobile venture, advertisement of venture capitalist, analyst, and companies, and investment exchanges by comparing and verifying many ideas from the companies.
SK Telecom, BlueRun Ventures, Intel Capital, JAFCO Investment Korea, SAIF Advisors Limited Korea were the judges, and 10 venture capitals participated as participants - Kibo Technology Advancing Capital Co., Daeyang Venture Capital Co., Dongyang Venture Capital Co., Dongwon Venture Capital Co., Centurion Technology Venture Corporation Co., Cowell Venture Capital Co., Korea Technology Investment Corp., Hanmi Venture Capital Co.,who showed much interest in this event.
The scores were made by presenting businesses making their presentations and the judges giving questions and receiving answers, unlike the former venture capital presentations, and as a result of final screening, Zenitum Entertainment Computing Co. was selected as the best award, and Citus Inc. for excellence award.
The awards ceremonies was held in COEX Grand Ballroom on the 15th, and the awarded businesses and the judges ended the two-day even with panel discussions based on the future perspective of mobiles after the awarding ceremony.
